THRACE, Mesembria. Philip I, with Otacilia Severa. AD 244-249. Æ (26mm, 10.42 g, 1h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Gordian and draped bust of Tranquillina, wearing stephane, facing one another / Fortuna standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia. Karayotov II 282-4 (O32/R79); Varbanov 4269 corr. (obv. legend). VF, dark green patina, a few light scratches on reverse.
